Q#1: Who were the choices to portray Edward Cullen in the movie before they picked Robert Pattinson?
A: The most popular choice for Edward when Twilighters first heard that MTV wanted to make Twilight a movie (yes, MTV wanted to make Twilight the movie first but for some reason they let their option to the movie rights expire until Summit came along and grabbed the movie rights) was Henry Cavill. 
Unfortunately, by the time Summit picked up the rights to the movie, Henry Cavill is already 24 years and no longer looks like he can play a 17-year old vampire.

Q#2: When is Twilight showing in Indonesia?
A: I get this question a lot so I know there’s a lot of Indonesian Twilight fans out there. Unfortunately, I honestly have no idea when they’re gonna show Twilight in Indonesia. Q#3: I can’t read Midnight Sun in your profile. Why?
A: You probably don’t have an Adobe reader installed in your computer. You can download it here for free: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html You have to install it after downloading, then once installed, try opening Midnight Sun again and you should be able to read it this time.
Q#4: What is Forever Dawn? And will Stephenie ever publish it?
A: Forever Dawn is the original sequel to Twilight that Stephenie wrote as a birthday present for her sister, Emily. It’s about 600+ pages. Here’s some quotes from Stephenie about why she wrote it and whether it will be published in the future or not:
“If you’ve read the story behind Twilight, then you know that I didn’t set out to write a novel or begin a career as an author. I was just writing down a story for my personal enjoyment, letting it grow as it would and lead where it would. No pressure, just fun.
The first sequel I wrote to Twilight—Forever Dawn—was more of the same. I wasn’t planning a sequel any more than I was planning to write a book in the first place. Originally, Twilight had a more defined ending. But, when it was ended, I started writing epilogues. After I’d written three epilogues, all of them over a hundred pages long, I realized I wasn’t ready to stop writing about Bella and Edward. One of those epilogues turned into Forever Dawn.
I was about three hundred pages into Forever Dawn when my life got turned upside down. Twilight was going to be published. People were going to read what I was writing. More specifically, young adults were going to be reading what I was writing. Unintentionally, I’d written a young adult novel. I realized pretty quickly that Forever Dawn did not follow the rules of YA. Because I was caught up in the story, I finished Forever Dawn anyway, knowing that it would never see the light of day; I gave it to my big sister as a birthday gift. And then I started on the real sequel.“

First of all, here’s the reason why Forever Dawn will never be published: it doesn’t fall into the young adult genre. The reason I can’t do this for a long time is because the plot line of Forever Dawn is still working as a loose skeletal outline for the rest of the series. After Eclipse is out and we get a little closer to the release of Breaking Dawn, I’ll be able to reveal the first pieces of Forever Dawn.“

Q#5: What is the rating of Twilight the movie?
A: Twilight the movie hasn’t been rated yet but one of Stephenie’s requirement when she sold the movie rights for Twilight to Summit Entertainment is that the movie be at least rated PG13. So although it hasn’t been confirmed yet i would guess it would have a PG13 rating or might even be G. But that’s just me. It’s gonna be hard to make a movie about vampires PG13. On the other hand, Twilight is a YA fiction so maybe they’ll be able to work it out.
Q#6: I don’t understand Breaking Dawn at all.. I have so many so many questions!

Q#7: What is really going on with Midnight Sun? Is it true that it’s never gonna be published?
A: Let me give you a brief update on what really happened. Sometime in the middle of August, an unknown person leaked scanned images of the manuscript for the first 12 Chapters of Midnight Sun online. I don’t know where it got leaked first. The earliest sources I could tell where it came from was either from an Amazon.com thread or the one from Livejournal.
There was speculation whether it was real or not because:
1. Stephenie was not commenting about the leak (she did made a comment but after about “a whole week” *I think*)
2. A lot of fans knew Stephenie is not done with MS yet so how could someone leak almost half of the book?
Anyway, soon after Stephenie heard about it she made the infamous “MS is now on hold indefinitely* statement on her website http://www.stepheniemeyer.com/midnightsun.html. Read the August 28, 2008 entry.
It’s up to the reader to interpret what she had said. You can look at it in two ways:
1. The glass is half-full argument - She only said “indefinitely”. If you look at the dictionary the word “indefinitely” means “having no exact limits”. So, she didn’t really say she won’t continue writing Midnight Sun. She only said she doesn’t know when she will continue writing Midnight Sun because she is very upset about the whole MS situation right now.
2. The glass is half-empty argument - She also didn’t verify that she will continue writing Midnight Sun. The word “indefinite” might be just a polite way of saying she won’t write MS anymore. At this rate, considering the fact that it takes years to publish a book (includes the time for printing, editing, marketing, etc.) we probably won’t see MS until 2012 and that’s not even a definite release date.
Q#8: What is the meaning of New Moon’s cover?
A: Officially, it has no meaning at all. I remember Stephenie said that she was able to participate in Twilight, Eclipse & Breaking dawn’s cover design (that’s why the meaning in those 3 books is kinda obvious) but someone else chose the new moon cover. Steph said she went ahead with New Moon’s cover design because it looked vague enough to be interpreted in anybody’s pov. Btw, the flower in New Moon’s cover is called a ruffled tulip. it really does look like that except in the book cover they added droplets of blood. Here’s a pic of a ruffled tulip:

Something to keep in mind if you intend to embark on a career as a writer: lots of things you might expect to be under your control are not. Covers, for example. Those are mostly up to the publisher and the marketing and sales departments. So I don’t know what the tulip means—I didn’t have anything to do with this one.

Q#9: Why does everyone keep calling Robert Pattinson “Spunk Ransom”?
A: Well, MTV asked some fans to submit questions for the cast during their May 27th, 2008 Twilight Tuesday feauture.
One of the questions was specifically for Robert Pattinson, “Do you like the fans nickname for you, R-Pattz? (RPattz is the fandoms original nickname for Robert. R for his first name. Pattz for Pattinson. It’s like calling Jennifer Lopez, J-Lo or Alex Rodriguez as A-Rod, etc.)”
And Robert said:
“R-Pattz? I dunno. I guess it kinda makes sense. It’s my initial. *laughs* It sound like an antacid or something. *laughs* I hate my name. I hate any reference to my name. I wish people would just completely invent a new one. *laughs again*”
so the interviewer asked him, “So what would you like to be called?”
Robert answered:
“I dunno. Like, SPUNK.There’s a girl in school called ‘Ransom’. *laughs* RANSOM SPUNK. Or SPUNK RANSOM!“
