Warning! BREAKING DAWN SPOILERS AHEAD!
This is the transcript for the Stephenie’s interview from http://www.mugglenet.com/mugglecast/index.php?page=episodes.php
MUGGLECAST Episode #156: Interview with Stephenie Meyer:
Andrew:
Alright! It’s time for another week of
Mugglecast. And we have a very special interview this week. Isn’t that right,
Laura?
Laura: That
is right, Andrew! Umm
Andrew: Who
are we interviewing?
Laura: We’re
going to be speaking with the author Stephenie Meyer who wrote the Twilight
Saga.
Andrew:
OME *Laura laughs* for Edward! We decided to have Stephenie
Meyer on this show this week because we talked about Twilight here on
Mugglecast so many times. And a lot of our listeners decided to read it because
of our recommendation and they realized “Oh Wow! This is great!” So we wanna
get more of you guys interested in Twilight. We’re gonna hear what Stephenie
Meyer has to say about the Harry Potter fandom and also Breaking Dawn as well. So, I’m Andrew Sims.
Laura: I’m
Laura Thompson.
Matt: I’m Michael (?)
Matt: and
I’m Matt Britton.
*intro
music*
*note: I
skipped to the Twilight bits already because their interview with Stephenie
Meyer comes at the middle part of the podcast.*
Andrew: Joining
us now is Stephenie Meyer, the author of the highly successful Twilight Saga
which was just completed Friday with the release of Breaking Dawn. Hello
Stephenie!
SMeyer : Hi Andrew.
laughs all
around.
Andrew - How
are you today?
SMeyer: Um .
. . Pretty good, I’m starting to get a little nervous because the show is
tonight. That always happens.
Andrew: Yeah, your in the middle of this tour right
now . . . um what is this your second or third?
Smeyer: Um,
this is my fourth tour
Andrew: oh
ok.
Smeyer: So, fourth tour. One tour for the host, and various
international tours.
Andrew: right
right . . . and you’re in Chicago tonight right?
Smeyer: Right
Andrew:
Awesome, so we’re going to ask you some questions about the Twilight Fandom and
how it compares to the Potter Fandom since we are a Harry Potter Fansite and
then we’ll get into stuff about Breaking Dawn. Does that sound good?
SMeyer :
That sounds cool.
Andrew : alright cool
Elysa: With the release of Breaking Dawn the press is
all over this huge phenomena that you’ve created with these books and a lot of
people are comparing you to JK Rowling . . Um Because of the similarity of the
fandom. Why do you think so many Potter fans also enjoy Twilight and vice
verse?
SMeyer: Yeah, um, I think everyone says that actually.
Not most of them. (laughs) I get that all the time now. And I don’t really know
. . . when it comes down to it there isn’t that much that is similar except for
the fans of the books are very similar . . and of course all my fans are HP
fans cause everyone is a Harry Potter Fan.
*Laughs all
around*
SMeyer: That goes without saying right?
Elysa - yea,
I agree with you, yea
Andrew- yeah
SMeyer- yeah
so I think that they’re fantasy and they’re kinda fun reads but they appeal to people
who like a little bit longer books. So that’s two [reasons] I guess
Elysa: right
Matt: Okay,
um Stephenie, in your opinion what is it about this whole genre that appeals to
so many readers?
SMeyer: The
Vampire genre?
*Andrew
laughs*
Matt: yeah
SMeyer:- Um
I don’t know because I don’t read Vampire books so . . . um before . . . now I
would be able to. Um I never really been into horror so I’m not sure what the
appeal is. A lot of people like horror movies and I guess people liked to be
scared . . . and Vampires of all the monsters that we can scare ourselves with
are definitely the sexiest.
Andrew: Right
Elysa :
totally
*Matt
laughs*
Andrew: Now one major difference between the fandoms
is that between Harry Potter and Twilight is that JK Rowling has had ten years
to develop ah, her fandom. Where as yours has only had three years. So if your
fandom had ten years to develop do you think it would grow into this huge
thing???
SMeyer:-
Wow, you know, I don’t know. Everything has been so much more and I expected.
Um, so it’s hard to say. I keep waiting for everything to crash and burn.
That’s probably my personality though
*laughs all
around*
Andrew: It just seems, like you know, I just have to
wonder if there was more time. Um, it would be fun to watch. Just seeing this
whole [Twilight] fandom grow has been fun to watch.
Smeyer:
Yeah, it has been real fast. And obviously cool and fun for me. So I dunno I
kinda like the idea of starting over with new characters. I’m sure something
that JK Rowling has had to deal with is people feel like the characters belong
to them. And after a while they have their own definite idea of what they want
to see happen. You don’t really have to deal with that so much when you start
over with fresh characters.
Andrew: Is
that a hint of things to come?
Smeyer: Well
Obviously I have to go do Midnight Sun so people don’t come after me right
(laughs all around) So I’m still in the Twilight world for now . . . BUt I’ve
got a lot of other, you know, non-vampire stories. Ghost, Mermaids, Time
Travel.
There’s a
lot of ‘cools’ and ‘awesome’
Andrew -
Sounds like a whole spectrum there, yeah (laughs)
Smeyer- yeah
Laura- So
considering that the two stories don’t have a lot in common, what do you think
Harry Potter fans would like about Twilight. Especially people who haven’t read
the books yet?
SMeyer- Hmm,
you know to me it’s still so not comparable but I do think that people who are
readers, I was always a reader when I was growing up and I I just loved really
BIG stories . . I just never wanted them to end. My stories are long so I think
they have that going for them and I think they’re kinda fun fast reads. Um. For
as long as they are. My priority is always entertainment. SO I think that’s
similar to Harry Potter. Rowling just has such a wonderful whimsical escapism
that is really cool. With Twilight I think it’s a little different, closer to
home, cause it’s set in the world that we know, but I think it still has that
escape that people might be looking for.
Andrew- You
know that is what I always loved about your books . . . that it is set in
today’s world. And in America too . . . I always appreciated your reference to
rotten tomatoes . . . I think that was in Twilight or New Moon
(laughs all
around)
SMeyer -
Rotten tomatoes is a good tool.
Andrew- Yes
it is!
Matt- OK,
Stephenie . . you have read the Harry Potter books correct?
SMeyer - Yes
Matt- OK,
what would you say is your favorite of the series?
Smeyer-
Probably number three . . . I’m just a huge Sirius Black fan.
The girls
all ‘awww’ at this.
Elysa- Rock
on! I’m there with you.
Smeyer- I
had a really hard time when he died. it was not easy for me.
Laura- I think
we all felt the same way. So if you had to pick something specific or something
not so specific . . . what do you admire most about JK ROwlings work?
Smeyer- Oh
gosh, her imagination! When I work I work within the world I’m in to have that
foundation of realism. It makes it easier . . . people are used to being in
this world. To create a totally new world and to get the walls up as solidly as
she does takes some serious imagination and a real gift. I’m constantly amazed
at that with her.
Elsya- If
Harry and Edward had to duel against each other using their own abilities who
do you think would win?
SMeyer- Oh
gosh don’t get mad at me!!! But. (laughs all around) I don’t know what a wizard
fight looks like in her head, I know what it looks like in the movies so I’m
going to have to go on what it looks like in the movies. If it is possible for
a human to duck a wand beam being aimed at them then a vampire is not going to
have a problem. I mean it would be over in 1.01 seconds because Edward would be
across the room, snap his neck, and be done! He wouldn’t even have time to say
his spell work. (everyone laughs) I’m sorry, Edward would win that one. (more
laughter)
Matt- I
kinda agree with her
Laura- yea
me too
Andrew-
Let’s move onto Breaking Dawn now (blah blah blah spoiler warnings. Blah)
Andrew- We
all finished reading it. I think it’s safe to say that we all loved it!
Matt- Yea!
Laura- Yea
it was AMAZING!
SMeyer - I
haven’t got all the reaction yet . . . but I hear murmurings that there are
some people upset with me. So I’m glad to hear you guys liked it.
Matt- Well,
it’s over . . . that’s why people are mostly upset.
Andrew-
Yeah, that’s definitely part of it I think.
SMeyer -
Well, it kinda goes back. I was reading something that Steven Spielberg said
about the new Indiana Jones and how people had all written their own stories. I
think when you leave that space for people to do that it’s hard to please
everyone.
Matt-
Exactly
Andrew- Did
you always have a four book saga worked out in your head?
Smeyer- No,
when I was writing twilight I didn’t even know I was writing a book. I wasn’t
thinking about that right. I wrote that as it’s own thing. So when I continued
with the sequel later on which was a rough draft of Breaking Dawn called
Forever Dawn. SO that was the end. So it was two books then. Then my editor came
and said, "you know you skipped right over Bella’s end of high school, we
really want to see more of that" So I went back and developed that, so I
knew the ending so when I started New Moon I knew it would be a four book story
arch.
Andrew- Oh
interesting.
Smeyer- I’m
a little bit unorganized as you can tell!
(Laughter
all around)
Matt- So
Stephenie . . . how did you come up with the title of breaking dawn?
SMeyer -
well, you know the first book was originally called FORKS, I just really liked
that. I thought that I would pick up the book and wonder ‘how can you write a
book this long about forks? (laughter) My editor didn’t think that was a very
good idea so we kicked around different titles . . . so when we finally did
come up with the name Twilight . . then the other titles came really easier.
New Moon came really obviously to me. Eclipse I totally loved. And breaking
dawn . .. forever dawn sounded so cheesy, I didn’t want to go back to that, so
I wanted a more sense of impending doom but at the same time a breaking day you
know. And actually [someone] from the Lexicon originally suggested that, I was
asking them what they all think . . . and she said Breaking Dawn and I said ‘ohhh
I really like that’ . . so that’s what I ended up using.
Andrew- Oh
wow!!!
Elysa- SO
this has been discussed endlessly, the cover of breaking dawn. What does it
mean to you?
Smeyer- Oh
you guys! I was planning on answering this one for the first time tonight but
you guys beat me to it! (laughs all around) This cover has kinda two things.
For me the main this is this is a metaphor for the entire story arch because
you have Bella going from being the most helpless player on the board going to
the most powerful player on the board.
Matt- Yes!
Yes! Yes!
Laura- Oh
Matt had it right!
Matt- Yes!
Andrew- Good
job Matt!
SMeyer- Pawn
to Queen. SO the other thing is to foreshadow that the final scene is not a
battle scene . . . but more of a courtroom drama . . . So I wanted to give that
sense of people very methodically plotting their moves. So I like the check
metaphor.
Andrew- Oh
oh . . . that’s great. You know what I really loved about this cover was that
there really was so many different ways you could interpret it.
Matt- yea
Smeyer- All
the covers are like that to an extent. SO I thought it fit nicely into the
series.
Andrew-
Sure. mmhmm
Laura- I
will say that we spent hours discussing what this cover possibly meant. We had
everything you could possible think of it was ridiculous.
SMeyer- Well
that’s exactly how it’s supposed to work so awesome!
Laura- So
this might be a difficult answer but what was your favorite scene to write from
breaking dawn?
Smeyer- I
said at Comic Con that my favorite Edward and Bella scene was in Breaking Dawn
and it’s the very last scene in the book. I mean the like the very last two
pages.
Matt and
Laura - AWWWwwwwwssssss
Smeyer- Yeah
that was one of my favorite things so then right in the Jacob Black section was
the most fun I’d ever had. I was just laughing the whole way through. It was
fantastic.
Andrew-
That’s awesome.
Laura- Yea
really, I must say that I am really appreciative that you did that because
Jacob is my favorite character and reading from his perspective was awesome . .
. that’s the only way I can describe it.
Andrew- It
was fantastic
SMeyer-
Writing from his perspective was just hugely fun and he’s always been one of my
favorites. ANd you know I’ve been hearing all his snarky little comments the whole
time I’ve been writting, you know I’m hearing his responses even when he
doesn’t say it. And so it was great to be able to finally have those.
Andrew- I am
so glad that you brought up those snarky comments cause I was laughing so hard
when he would say some of those things. Especially the Rose Jacob interaction.
I was just so funny.
SMeyer- Yes,
I really love Rosalie and Jacob.
Matt- Yes I
love them . . . I love those blond jokes. I just love it that when Bella was
sick Jacob was just taking over Bella’s sarcasm. a little bit. He even
mentioned that in the book a little bit.
SMeyer - Yea
. . . Well one of the things in forever dawn is that it does not have that
section and you hear it all from Bella’s perspective… Because Jacob had not
developed into the character we see when I began Breaking dawn. In Twilight he
has a very small role. So apart of the problem of the original draft is that it
gets a little grim for a while. I wanted it to be outside of this life and
death struggle for a while. To have it there but at the same time be away from
it . . . and to be able to show where the action was. Bella was sitting in a
house for a week during that part of the time doing nothing. SO there was a lot
going on that she couldn’t see so I needed a different set of eyes.
Laura- So
moving on a little bit. Renesmee. Um was she always going to happen from the
beginning or was she a surprise for you the way she was for Bella and Edward?
SMeyer- From
the time I started Forever Dawn Renesmee was a very big part of the story. With
the publishing situation, they wanted me to end the story at three books . . .
and I knew I couldn’t do that and get Nessie at the same time. So it was really
for her that I was fighting that whole time. I wanted her.
Laura- So
wow, the same way that Bella was fighting for her
Smeyer- Yes
that’s similar.
Elysa- Going
back to Jacob a little bit . . . I’m like Laura, Jacob is one of my favorite
characters, I really love him a lot . . . Um, I always felt like Sam judged him
a bit too harshly for his behavior in Eclipse. And I’m wondering, do you think
now after Breaking Dawn, now that we see all the sacrifices that he’s made that
Sam will ease up. Do you think he has redeemed himself?
Smeyer- You
know, I always thought that people would GET him in Eclipse. I thought they
would understand the fact of how much of growing up and his attitude and how
his heart being broken . . . and how much he was already giving in Eclipse to
make an alliance with his enemies for her. He was really self sacrificing and
had a willingness to hurt himself for her, it kinda broke my heart. And then
for people not to get that I was very surprised. So I would never predict to
find Jacob Black redeemed no matter what . . . I don’t think some of them
[Jacob haters] can be convinced of anything but hating him.
Elsya-
That’s true. I was disappointed in that too because from the very get go I
loved Jake you know.
SMeyer . .
I’ve always been inside his head so I never got that sense that he was up to no
good and a bad person. That’s always surprised me.
Elysa - Well
what about imprinting . . .there was a lot of that, obviously, in Breaking
Dawn. Jacob says at some point, I think it’s when he’s talking to Leah, that he
want too thrilled with the idea of him having to imprint. I’m pretty sure it
was a long the lines of at least he had a mind of his own. Or something. SO
what are your thoughts on imprinting. Do you think it relinquishes free will or
do you think it is the werewolves, or the shape shifters, version of soul mates.
SMeyer - I’m
kinda on the line between that. On one had in doesn’t leave you a choice and it
can mess up your life like it did with Sam, ya know. And someone elses life in
the bargain. On the other hand it gives you a life long love that you’ll never
get tired of. That will always be fresh and new. So it’s like a gift and curse
wrapped up in there.
Andrew- One
think I have been wondering about . . . towards the end there is a resolution
with the Volturi . . . why did you have the Volturi to understand Renesmee’s
situation instead of having some climatic battle or something. It was a
surprise . . . I did enJOY it . But I was surprised that the Volturi sorta . .
.
*there’s a
pause*
Matt- Coward
away?
Andrew- no
not coward away
SMeyer-
Yeah, they were cowered . . . the were cowards (not sure exactly wat she said
there . . .it sounded like she said ‘they were cowed.’???) I decided against a
big battle where everyone got slaughtered cause I wasn’t ready to slaughter
everybody. And it would have happened that way. And I had this discussion with
my editor. I always new it would be more of a mental game. I knew exactly who
would have died and I didn’t want to go there. I thought about doing it . . .
but I just couldn’t do it.
Laura- So
speaking about the Voturi . . . we were curious to learn more about some of the
other vampires. For instance, What did Jane have as a human that translated to
her special ability as a vampire? And were there any other kind of interesting
tidbits that you could give us about any of the other Volturi or the Denali?
SMeyer -
Well that’s an open-ended question (laughs) I could go on for hours. There is
stuff up on the website about Jane, um, and Alec and how they were sorta shaped
as they become vampires. They were in England and considered witches at the
time. (kinda cuts out here but think she mentions Alice) When the Volturi
caught up with them they were actually being being burned at the stake which
shaped how their powers manifested. From the pain of that.
Laura - Ohhh
okay.
SMeyer- All
the characters have back stories in my head. And I’m still kinda expecting some
questions about the index that I provided at the end of the book. I’m pretty
sure those are coming.
Andrew- Oh
yeah, I thought those were pretty cool! How you had that in there
Matt- Yeah .
. . I liked it as a reference to keep going back and forth.
Elysa- So
why was Bella essentially able to skip the newborn phase . . . was it do to the
attitude and preparation like that had suggested?
SMeyer-
Bella has a very controlling personality in some ways and that it translated
really well. SHe was unequally driven towards it.
Matt- Yah,
and she pretty much embraced the vampire thing too . . it wasn’t like her whole
existence was against it.
SMeyer- Yes,
and everyone else was kinda stunned by it. And other people, like the people
brought over by the Volturi would never be told about anything. So yeah, she
just had a lot of prep time to get ready.
Laura- This
seems like this is a little bit disputed between some of the vampires . . .
particularly Edward and Carisle at least for a little while. Is there an
afterlife for the Vampires?
SMeyer-
Again, I’m not very good about answering questions that haven’t been answered
in the book . . . because there is that chance that I may go there. I think at
this point in the story it is up in the air. None of them know because they
haven’t seen.
Elysa- I
think we touched on this already . . but out next question is have you ever
considered killing off one or more of the main characters?
SMeyer - I
know who will have to die if I go on with the series. And that is one of the
reasons why I kinda don’t want to. I would have to kill a lot of people if it
ever came down to a fight. A pitched battle. People would die and that’s no
fun. SO I do know who I would kill but I don’t know if I will ever go there.
Matt- SO
Stephenie . . . we saw that things between Jacob and his old pack were resolved
in Breaking Dawn . . . but does he ever go back to join Sam and his pack or
does he stay as an Alpha and lead his own?
SMeyer- The
alpha thing isn’t something you can just turn off . . .he realizes that he’s in
so that is why he brings some of his friends over and he has his own pack now.
There is no going back.
Laura- And
speaking of that . . . did you always know that Jacob and the rest of the pack
were shape shifters or was it something that just sort of came about in the
middle of the series?
SMeyer- I
still think of them as werewolves . . . because what is the definition of a
werewolf?? A man who can turn into a wolf and back . . . so yea. But I knew
their back story in a very . . . I hadn’t defined it entirely . . . but I knew
where it came from . . . So I knew that it had been a different story other
than being bitten like a traditional werewolf. So I had to kinda make the
decision earlier in . . . do traditional werewolves exist? Where are they at?
Ya know . . .so I knew that they must have and were probably close to extinct
at this point.
Andrew-
Edward mentioned at the end of the book that the Volturi would eventually try
to pick their members off their family one at a time . .. Does this mean that
we’ll get to see more books about the Cullens in the future . . . is that what
maybe you’re leaning more towards or are you ready to move onto something else?
SMeyer- Well
that is definitely left open for that purpose. Clearly there will be a
possibility of a lot more stories there . . .but I have not yet decided. I have
to admit it’s been a really long year. And I don’t know if I"m ready to jump
back into that . . . I think I"m going to go and explore some other
directions for a while.
Andrew- If
you had to pick a characters point of view to go through instead of Edwards . .
. who would you choice?
SMeyer- You
mean from this point out?
Andrew- From
anyone else pov . . like Jasper or Alice . . .
SMeyer- Do
you mean like for to go back and re-do the books or in the future . . . ?
Andrew-
Either.
Matt- Or
like their story even . . Maybe
Smeyer- Um
because I am writing from Edwards perspective . . I actually get to get a lot
of people’s perspectives. Because he’s reading every ones thoughts. SO you
really get a good sense of Alice. And Rose as well . . . and Emmet. You really
get their perspective when Edward is telling the story. I really don’t have the
urge to go back to any of those characters … If i were to go forward I don’t
think those would be the ones that I would choose.
Elysa- We
got to see some really cool new characters in breaking dawn . . . and I have to
tell you personally I loved Garret. I adored him almost instantly.
SMeyer- I’m
a Garret fan . . . I love the guy.
Elysa - His
little monologue at the end . . . the revolutionary kind of monologue . . .
thrilled me. Who is your favorite of the new characters? Personality wise and
who you like to write.
SMeyer- I
enjoy Siobhan quite a bit and Maggie . . in the original draft they had a
longer part . . . a little bit too long and that is why it got cut down in the
end. It’s still very long but I cut out some interactions with Siobhan. And I
really loved the Romanians . . . they are new to this version of the story. And
I loved them coming in with their whole new attitude. I got a huge kick out of
it.
Matt- I
loved the Romanians
Andrew-
Didn’t Aro give them a look too . . like it was ‘Oh jeez’
SMeyer- Oh
yeah, they are the last two . . . kinda thrown to the side . . never quite
eradicated the entire clan.
Matt- SO
Stephenie . . . this is a question I have been dieing to ask every since I
finish Breaking Dawn. What is the overall message to the series?
SMeyer- You
know what, my editor said that to me. (laughter all around) When I gave her the
outline she was like . . . "What is the moral of the story?" And I
was like there is NO moral of the story! The point is to have a good time!
(laughter) The message is ‘did you enjoy the ride?’ because hopefully . . .
that was what it was about . . . about having fun . . and entertainment.
Nothing beyond that was intentional.
Elysa- Okay,
I have a question to you about Jasper . . . because our mutual friend is in
love with him. And she is wondering does Jasper actually feel others emotions .
. . or does he just feel the emotions coming off of them?
SMeyer- Oh
he feels their emotions . . .I don’t think there is really a distinction there.
You know for him people are putting out this emotional aura all the time. So if
someone is very sad then he is going to feel that too . . . he can separate
himself from that a little bit you know . . . he knows that ‘he’ is not sad . .
. but still feels the affects from it.
Elysa- SO
when he is trying to influence other peoples emotions does he have to feel that
himself . . . if he is trying to calm someone . . does he have to be calm or
can he do that outside of his emotions.
SMeyer- He
has to be calm to calm someone down.
Laura- Wow
Elysa- Poor
Jasper!
SMEyer- He’s
had a lot of practice . . . he is good at it.
Laura- So
what can we expect from the official guide to the Twilight Saga coming out the
end of this year?
SMeyer- I
think a lot of it will be old information to someone who has read all the
information on the Lexicon. And everything on my website. But to someone who
hasn’t put in all that effort it will be a good guide for them. I’m hoping to
be able to tie in some new material. Don’t hold me to that because I don’t know
if it is going to happen. We’ll see when we get off tour what their production
schedule is like. If what I’m working on doesn’t make it in time I’ll just put
it on my website.
Andrew- OK
cool!
Elysa- I
know you are a big fan of the band muse and so am I. So I was just wondering if
there were any songs that stood out in particular while you were writing
breaking dawn?
SMeyer- yes,
on my playlist towards the end . . it’s fitted to the battle scene. I hear the
song Take a Bow as the Volturi arrive and are parading to that . . the way they
build and expand. And then Assassin is Garrets speech that you love so much.
Andrew- Ok
now for a few questions about the movie . . . now during the interview at Comic
Con . . . you were talking with the director of the movie Catherin Hardwicke
and she said you’d be seeing what they put together the following Tuesday . . .
So do you want to say anything about the film . . . like have you seen a rough
cut of it at this point?
SMeyer- I
did see a very very rough cut. You know there are still a lot of transitions
missing because it’s still in the very early stages. But I’m kind of amazed at
how the emotions and how Edward-y Rob is and how Bella-y Kristen is and how
them together just really caught that chemistry. It was mind blowing.
Everyone-
Wow awesome
Andrew- That
is so exciting to hear
SMeyer- And
you guys knew Rob before as Cedric . . .and seen him in action . . . but he is
going to BLOW your mind. You are not going to believe it when you see it how
big his skill range it. He is amazing.
Andrew-
Yeah, because me and Matt were at Comic Con and we saw the scene, it looked
like it was pretty much complete . Definitely a lot different from when they
shows it at the MTV awards. That scene was just awesome. it was so cool.
Matt- Yeah
that was so exciting to see . . . at the end we were seeing what Bella was
seeing after she got bit . . . so cool
SMeyer
-(laughs)
Andrew- So
is it true to the books . . . are the fans going to be happy with it? It’s
always been a big thing about Harry Potter . . . them being true to the books.
Frankly they really haven’t and it’s become a thing the fans of come to accept.
SMeyer- It
totally depends on what attitude that have about it. I’ve gotten emails form
people saying this line in the Trailer is different from in the book.Do I need
to be concerned? And I’m like you need to be . . because if you are expecting
them to come out and spout out every line exactly like the book and do
everything in order . . . that’s just not possible . . . unless you were doing
a 12 hour mini series. Can’t be done. What I was looking for and hoping for was
that it feels like Twilight. The little things that are different are almost
like little extras. ya know that could be happening because they are absolutely
in character. And it sounds like Edward and Bella . . .there are even little
extra scenes that I wish I had wrote in the book. So your not going to see the
book line for line . . . but you are going to see the SOUL of Twilight.
Everyone is
like . . . awesome some more.
SMeyer . . .
well Elizabeth just walked in and that is my quea to go over to the theater . .
. so I have to go.
Andrew- Well
thank you Stephenie . . this was a lot of fun.
*There’s a
lot of thank yous and byes and see yas *
