I just found out about this and I want to let you guys know! Twilight’s US release date has been moved up to November 21, 2008!
It’s no joke, guys! Stephenie updated her website and this news was in there. Apparently, now that Harry Potter has been moved to July 17, 2009, this leaves an extra slot in the theaters for November 21, 2008. So Summit took advantage of the opportunity to give us Twilight 3 weeks sooner than originally planned! (Isn’t it awesome?!)

Usually, they only release movies that are SURE to be blockbuster films during this period. Thanksgiving in the US is like Christmas and New Year combined together. It’s a very BIG holiday. This is scary but HOLY COW it’s so good to know that Summit is confident enough to grab this Release Date. I hope Twilight makes it BIG! Hopefully, they change their minds about the international release date and open Twilight in theaters around the world in the same day! Wouldn’t that be GREAT??!!!
