What’s it about:
It’s a scheduled chat event on
yahoo messenger. The purpose of the conference is to connect Twilighters from
around the world with each other and with other Twilighters from their home
country.
What you need to join the conference:
1. A Yahoo Messenger account
2. Add welcome2thedarksyd to your friends
3. You have to be logged into your Yahoo Messenger Account on the time/date of the conference.

IMPORTANT UPDATE!! THE DATE OF THE CONFERENCE IS CHANGED TO 08.31.08 BUT THE TIME STAYS THE SAME. SO INSTEAD OF SATURDAY IT WILL BE ON SUNDAY. SAME TIME AND SAME PLACE. IT’S JUST THE DATE THAT WAS CHANGED. PLEASE PASS THIS ALONG TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW WHO WILL ATTEND.
P.S. I also need 5 Volunteers to represent their home country. If you want to be a representative, leave me a message on my Yahoo ID: welcome2thedarksyd telling me your name (real one), age, gender and your location (city & country). I only need at least 5 people so the first 5 people to volunteer would serve as a representative for where their from. (You’ll be just like a diplomat!)
I also need 3 Volunteers for moderators. So if you want to become a moderator, leave me a message on my yahoo ID: welcome2thedarksyd I only need 3 so the first 3 people that send me message me would be the mods for the Conference. What’s the role of the mods? They would help out with the control of the flow of the conference. If you’re gonna be a TwiYCon moderator, you have to come at least an hour earlier than 8am EST (or an hour earlier YOUR time) and keep in mind that if you volunteer to become a moderator, you will be disqualified to join the trivia contest (because you will be the one giving questions/keeping tabs on the people who answers).
