Rosalie: Does she even like Italian?

Emmett: Her name’s Bella.

Carlisle: I’m sure she’ll love it.

Rosalie: Oh, get a whiff of that. Here comes the human.

Esme: Bella, we’re making Italiano for you.

Bella: Oh…

Edward: Bella, this is Esme, my mother for all intents and purposes.

Bella: Bon giorno?

Esme: Molto bene!

Carlisle: You’ve given us an excuse to use the kitchen for the first time.

Esme: I hope you’re hungry.

Bella: Yeah, absolutely.

Edward: She already ate.

Rosalie: (Rosalie crushes the salad bowl with bare hands) Perfect.

Bella: Yeah, it’s just, because I know, I know you guys don’t eat–

Esme: Of course, that’s very considerate of you.

Edward: Just ignore Rosalie. I do.

Rosalie: Yeah, let’s just keep pretending like this isn’t dangerous for all of us.

Bella: I would never tell anybody anything.

Carlisle: She knows that.

Emmett: Yeah, well the problem is you two have gone public now, so…

Rosalie: No, she should know. The entire family will be implicated if this ends badly.

Bella: Badly as in.. I-I would become the meal..

Alice: Hi, Bella! Oh, you DO smell good.

Edward: Alice, what are you–

Alice: It’s ok. Bella and I are going to be great friends.

Carlisle: Sorry, Jasper’s our newest vegetarian. It’s still a little difficult for him.

Jasper: Pleasure to meet you.

Alice: It’s ok Jasper, you won’t hurt her.

Edward: All right, uh, I’m gonna take her through the rest of the house.

Alice: Well, I’ll see you soon.

Bella: Ok.

Carlisle: I think that went well.

Esme: Clean this up (points to Rosalie). Now.

Edward: ?? (note: i didn’t catch what they said here)

Bella: ??

Bella: Graduation caps?

Edward: Yeah, private joke. We matriculate a lot.

Bella: You’ve gotta be miserable, repeating high school over and over.

Edward: Sure, but the younger we start out in one place the longer we can stay there. Come on.

Edward: Uh, yeah, this is my room.

Bella: No bed?

Edward: Uh, no, I don’t… I don’t sleep.

Bella: Ever?

Edward: No, not at all.

Bella: Ok… You have so much music. What are you listening to?

Edward: It’s Debussy.

Bella: Claire De Lune is great.

Edward: (Edward holds her hand to dance) What?

Bella: I can’t dance.

Edward: Hmm, well, I could always make you.

Bella: I’m not scared of you.

Edward: Well, you really shouldn’t have said that.

Edward: You better hold on tight, Spidermonkey. (Edward climbs to tree) Do you trust me?

Bella: In theory…

Edward: Then close your eyes. (Edward jumps to another tree & climbs up to reach the top)

Edward: What?

Bella: This isn’t real! This kind of stuff just doesn’t exist.

Edward: It does in my world.

(Bella’s Lullaby starts to play in background as Bella & Edward moves around the branches. Scene fades to Edward playing the piano while Bella sits beside him and watch.)

In this adaptation of the best seller of Stephenie Meyer directed by Katherine Harwicke and starred in by Kristen Stewart, Pattinson embodies to Edward Cullen, a mysterious and charming youth that the true love lives for the first time, but with a great defect: he is a vampire and the woman of whom is lover, Bella Swan, is a mortal to which he wants to suck her blood. In interview, the actor confessed us the difficulties to interpret the “perfect man”.

Is your first time in Mexico?
“Yes, it’s the first time. I have not seen anything still but i like… i like the hotel (laughs)”

Tell me the funniest or amusing experience with a fan?
I dunno, the majority of the people that approach me are really nice. Probably in Comic Con of San Diego last year, because there was more than 7000 thousand people in the public and i had no idea how big the fandom was. I rose to the setting and the people began to shout for 45 minutes. It’s the strangest thing i ever experiened.

You say that because have not seen the fans Mexican still…
Yes, also here in the airport, that was quite impressive.

Twilight takes the classical elements of a movie vampire, do you believe that brings up to date these elements?
Yes, i hope. The history is situated in the real world, not in the situations of the traditional vampires as the eyeteeth, the garlic or that drink blood…The vampires in Twilight is more of illness than something your born with. I think that’s what sets it apart form other stories. Vampires are seen as gods while here they are just normal.

What part of you relates to Edward Cullen?
I don’t really know… I think the whole being unsure about yourself and not getting along with people that you know is how i relate myself to him.

And the seductive side of vampires, Are you as seductive as Edward?
No! Not at all!

What’s your secret to pick up girls?
That’s my dirty little secret… (laughs) Honestly i have no secret

As an actor, What challanges came to you playing this character?
It’s very intresting because all the people who read the books put him on a pedistal and he’s very important to them. And he’s fictional so to act someone so perfect was nearly imposible.

Have you ever been in a situation as intentense as Edward and Bella?
Mmm, not really.

Not really with a girl but wit a friend or anybody familiar?
I once had this intense relantionship with a girlfriend that wasn’t as intense as Edward and Bella but it was really diffult when i was with her.

Do you believe in vampires?
I don’t think so… Maybe they do but no i don’t.

What do you think makes vampires so fascinating?
I think it has to do with the power they have. They are immortal, and very strong compared to common human and this makes them attractive, but at the same time they are completely defenseless without the human morales.

If you could change anything about Twilight, what would it be?
I don’t know. When something exists at all i try to understand every step of history. I like to try to understand the steps by which the story progresses, instead of trying to change it. In the film i wanted Edward and Bella to have sex, but they wouldn’t let me (laughs)

Could you tell us about Never Think, the song that you have on the Twilight Soundtrack?
It’s just a song … well, it is not even finished yet, to be honest.

And yet a lot of people around the world are waiting for that song.
I know! The truth it scares me a lot. I thought it was very funny because the director had a disc with things that I had recorded on the computer last year and asked if it was OK to include my music on the soundtrack and I said yes. And now is a great event and it seems that I am trying to start a career as a musician and I think No, not at all. There is another song that is part of the film and that I think will also be on the soundtrack as a “bonus.” in a very significant point of the movie and I think it makes the scene better.

Favorite horror movie?
The Exorcist.

Why?
Because it is one of the most original movies I’ve seen and one of the best acted. It has Ellen Burcken … no,Burcken Ellen, Ellen Burstyn I always get Ellen wrong (laughs)

What can you tell us on your personage as Dalí in “Little Ashes”? It’s a very different role and he is one of the founders of surrealism…is there something surrealist in your life or you feel identifying with this personage?
Two months before Twilight. It was very different to everything that I have done. I did not understand why i obtained that role, I have nothing to do with him, but later I began to obsess with the role. All the members of the production were Spaniards and they knew him, and I can NOT speak Spanish, the only unique thing that i could do cwas read books on Dalí every day and I began to feel affection by him after that. I think the way he became a man was very strange, I identified on how was he was when he was young and I began to see me a little more as he in the movie, which is a little strange.

You can speak to us of your surprise before the fame that you have had after Harry Potter and of this new film, Twilight?
With Harry Potter i somehow always knew that it would be like this, because he was something great from before I participated, but with Twilight i had no have that the fandom was so big.

Are you afraid of losing something because of the fame?
Yes, I’m afraid. It is strange when you can not go to certain places that used to go because everything is very different, everything feels different. Suddenly people watching this and you think-Ok, I do not do stupid things, that’s always annoying (laughs) ”

Of course you can…
(Laughs)

Are you concerned that you might do the role of Edward Cullen a lot as happened to Daniel Radcliffe with Harry Potter?
No, I think it is impossible for me to label this paper, it’s too specific to not age orso when it ends, it’s done. I hope that i’m not labled with this character, but I don’t think that will happen.

What do you like most about acting in general?
I love to be able to fully commit to something, you can create a world in which you want to live and you can create the person you want to be on time is more often. Interestingly, I do not have a lot of “life” outside of my work, so it’s good to feel you have something to do (laughs) ”

If you were not an actor, what you spend?
“I had wanted to be a pianist or a writer of political speeches”

What are your next project? Does fame helps you to choose what to do in the future?
Yes. I will make a small independent project next year and two other things that I can not speak yet.
